Sorry if this has been covered already. I mainly wanted to clear up the process of bringing a R34 GT-T into NSW from QLD.

From what I have read R34s should have been complied with a SEVS plate/sticker.

So to bring a QLD registered R34 into NSW, the SEVS compliance should still hold/be valid for the RTA and I only have to go get a blue slip and the usual RTA rego fee and CTP greenslip?

Is it possible for an R34 to have been complied under any other different methods that might cause issues with RTA ? and is there anything else I have missed?

I live in far north coast NSW so it would be easier for me to look at cars in goldy/brissy than to do a trip down to Sydney.

yep 100% correct. get the car with the QLD rego. bring it to NSW. take it to a place that does blueslips. it will be good if you have the original compliance paperwork (consumer info papers, import approval etc) but you may be ok without it. after blueslip purchase a CTP green slip, then take both to the RTA and you are good to go...unless you get pinged for a vehicle identity check, if that happens you just have to make an appointment and go there so they can check numbers match etc. then back to the RTA and finish off your rego.

Does the vehicle identity check only cover checking that records match, or do they look at other aspects of the car also? I'm looking at moving back to NSW and my car was originally complied and rego'd in QLD, I've had a Engineers Mod Plate issued for a turbo conversion, I just don't want to run into problems with tfring back.. I don't have the time/parts/money to be reverting a car to stock and all :S

I've read some stories where people just followed the above and all was good, and others where once they had to have an ID Check done they got pulled up for numerous things.
