Need Decision On Front Speakers :)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, Just needed some opinions on which speaker you guys would think is best value for money out of the few listed below and why you think so:

I listen to mainly RnB/Rap/House/Energy/Trance. If that helps.

I plan to only run fronts and no rears.

Will be bridging a 4 channel amp to run the fronts.

1) Soundstream PCC6N 6 1/2" Component Speakers $RRP 399

2) JL AUDIO Evolution C5-650 C5 Component Speakers $RRP 699

3) Pioneer TS-D1720C 6.5' 260W Component/Splits Speaker $RRP 549

4) NEW ALPINE TYPE-R SPR-17S 6.5" 330 Watt 2-Way Splits $RRP 399

5) Boston Acoustics SL60 6.5" Component Speakers $RRP 549

Thanks guys :)

JL AUDIO Evolution C5-650 C5 Component Speakers $RRP 699

bro has a set and they are very good , i find tweeters to be soft and not to tinny sounding like some of splits i heard.

at end of day you should listen to all of them and see what ones best for your ears :D

Mate you cant go wrong with JL Audio. The c5 is one of the best speakers i have heard in a while.Made in Germany and they come very close to the JL ZR.Come see me at JB HI FI Warrawong and i will hook you up.Ask for Aaron.

Yep cant go wrong with jl audio speakers, dont get put off with low power output, These are pure quality :D

Focal are not bad also. Wouldnt go pass these 2 unless goin extremly high end alpine cos other than that they are poop imo.

Run 6" or 6 1/2 inch in back also could be a thought. Then get a Jl audio sub also. W3 an up :P
