Have a GCG highflow turbo for sale. Bought it second hand a few months ago but wasnt on the car for long at all. I was running 1bar boost for everyday driving and until i could get a new clutch as mine would slip with more boost. These turbos are perfect for skylines in my opinion as they make around 270kw on a rb25 and are very responsive. GCG are the best turbo company in australia and have a very good reputation when it comes to highflowing turbos. The bearings in this one have gone because i let the oil get a bit too low. It was never completely starved of oil but just didnt have the right pressure for a few seconds which is all it needed. Also because the bearings are gone the shaft has a bit of play and the front fin has been skimming the front housing. I called GCG and they said it needs new bearings ($600 or less from MTQ etc) and possibly a new front blade which are reasonably cheap. They bolt directly onto any rb20 or rb25 and sock lines can be used. It has the 0P6 rear housing off a r34 turbo and front housing of an rb20 for high top end and response. The housings are bored out and a ball bearing core is installed with bigger steel wheels which result in around 270kw and can run 20psi safely. The plate on the side of the turbo has the serial number etc which can be quoted to GCG if you would like any more information.

If you have any questions ill try my best to answer them.

I can post it or can be picked up from camberwell, vic

These are $2000 new plus a stock turbo so im after $500 or nearest offer. This will include the turbo elbow and an actuator.

I got told around 150 but thats not an official quote. Either way still a cheap GCG after its fixed. I cant afford to get it fixed at the moment as i need a clutch and have no money.

Nah sorry i dont have a dyno graph. Have a look at the first post on this page though:

Makes 18psi at 3900RPM but thats with the rb25 rear housing. This one has OP6 so will be bit more laggy with more top end air flow / power.

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
