looks good man!

your wife looks really happy, my miss's did at the time too, now she feels rejected lol :D

is that raised suspension ? and what that switch ? boost control?

how's the manual feel ?

It's pretty high, i plan on lowering it soon, the switch is a factory turbo timer.

its great to drive!

Nice one Andy! Your old silver one was HOT, any plans to make this new one anything like that car?

I was out at "Da 'Riff" today too.

only lowering for now, it will be my wifes daily driver and she is only just learning to drive a manual, so i wont be putting any fibreglass goodies on it just yet.

That looks hot!

The stagea looks ok as well.

Might see you this weekend at Jambo.

What is the first mod?

My wife got all excited lol,

the car gets dropped off for a 3" catback tomorrow afternoon and im booked in to get the suspension looked at by wholesale suspension in Penriff on thursday :)

A trumpet atmo BOV and a set of racing stripes is my call.

HAHAHAHA :) how did you guess?

i dont think i'll be getting a BOV, my last stag had a GFB Stealth FX on it and i always had it turned to plumback (spelling) anyway, unless she who must be obeyed decides she wants one.

as for the racing stripes... ;):D:)

Congrats, nice and very clean ride (could love to have mine in manual...),and it's true it looks higher, like mine(it has a nismo optional susp... ;) )

Another misterious switch ,do you know wath it does?maybe some overpass state for the boost controller?????

can you measure centre of wheel to wheel arch on front and back please . wanna know if it is as sky high as it looks or what . mine is standard and it doesnt "look" that high

its approx 390mm front and 380mm rear

what option do you think ull go with for lowering?

its looking like just springs at the moment, but i'll see what the suspension place has to say,

i dont want too much negative camber so i may need some camber arms/kits

im not going any lower than 100mm clearance, i just had a quick look and it seems the lowest point is 155mm so i'll probably be looking to lower it about two inches

well the stag has been dropped off at the exhaust shop for the 3" mild steel catback with cannon and hot dog resonator,

cant wait to be able to hear some exhaust noise while driving (although i was enjoying hearing the turbo spool through lack of exhaust sound)

it's costing me $400 installed, i thought that was a good price, what u peeps think?

Nice one Andy. That price seems about right for mild steel (I think). You and the wife should come along to the Thursday meet-up as soon and as often as you can, dude. It would be good to catch up, and you might get to meet some of the other owners too (assuming that they turn up :) ).

Oh, and once you replace the dump/front pipe, you'll be able to hear the spooling sound AND a nice exhaust note.

    • Yes the gear for the R33/34 is different, it is red and has a different number of teeth. My part didn't come with that gear though, so I don't know how many teeth are on the red one. You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
