Anyone Know Anybody Parting Out A R33 Gtr In Sydney!?

Haha, yeah i've been searching and searching in there the last few months.. but nothing local has shouted out at me.

Also got no reply off my WTB add. :thumbsup:

So i thought it's time i started searching for real.

I'm looking for some random interior bits which are normally overlooked, and some times even cut up / thrown out in half cuts. Few plastic bits, floor carpet and boot interior bit which sits around the strut brace.

Called yesterday he said he had what i needed and it was definately in excellent condition. Called again this morning, he said he'd call back in 10 mins - never heard back and i finally got in touch with him 3.5 hours later and he said the part was damaged and missing pieces! Weird stuff and a great way to waste a morning! :)

I actually also bought some apexi pods of the same guy through ebay a few months ago, they werent the same ones he had in the pic even though he said they were and i paid out the rear for them, one was completely rooted. I ended up just buying a brand new set elsewhere.

So if you'll be buying parts through ebay - be careful hey!

Anyway, these are just my personal experiences, maybe he does sell good stuff and offer great service? I just havent seen it yet. :D

      Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.

      List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?

      @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand

      You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
