Whats the pricing on the angel eyes? Could you post a few photos of the ones you installed?

Yeah, as you said, I have heard of the aftermarket kits (the whole headlight with the projector headlamp and angel eyes) screwing up the elctrics + computer for some reason.

I am particularly after the headlights from the 330Ci as they have the angel eyes + projectors from factory and are a direct fit for the 323Ci + they wont screw the electrics or computer system.

you can get the projectors from carwear.com.au

for AE's ...i'd prolly recommend umnitza Orion V2's. Here a pic of the Umnitza 84 LED's which I had on my car ..but i wouldn't recommend these as the quality is quite poor.

oh...and +1 on getting deep dish wheels... I loved the look of the iforged equips that I had on my car. Please don't get suckered into getting some CSL reps as those wheels are so played out.

lol. Polo shirt tucked into 'leisure slacks'. :)

/I've got a gps on my R33 window!

//inside of course!

///Beemers should have mesh wheels.

i was thinking SSR Professors for my car :D 18x9.5 :)

finding those in hubcentric pcd 120 would be difficult ...may need to search the yahoo auctions regularly.

also you may want to look at 8.5 F and 9.5 rears with +38 offset max...unless u plan on cutting n flaring the guards.

yeah ino 9.5" rears is the biggest u can go without rolling/flaring guards.

I'll just have to keep an eye out for some rims and i'm sure i'll find some nice ones at a reasonable price :down:

Off to clean the car :P

James - Sure thing mate :down: just fling a few greenies my way and all is sweet ;)

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
