R33 Gtst Automatic Coughing

Hey guys ..

My R33 Automatic gtst when accelerated hard starts to cough after a certain point.... it coughs and regains acceleration and again coughs and that continues... but the car drives great when it is not taken to high acceleration .... i dont normally race the car to high rpm ... and the car is running on standard boost at the moment... so was wondering if anyone could help me out with this situation .... did anyone come across this before?

coil packs on the way out.. i say this as it sounds like the problem only happens when under full boost. which is when coil pack weaknesses show themselves.

coilpacks misfire, they dont cough, coughing, hesitation and pauses in acceleration is usually always a air flow meter

a missfire could be easily mistaken for a cough..

usually if the AFM is going it will basically switch the engine off until revs are below 2300.
