I'm doing R33 this weekend.

You'll want the 5 stud hubs, the rotors, the calipers and the brackets for the calipers to mount onto.

They'll all fit into your C33 knuckles, then you dont have to worry about re-drilling anything for coilovers.

As far as I know A31 and C33 turbo models use S13 SR20DET brakes, so the banjo bolt on the calipers is smaller than the R33 calipers, so you'll probably need to take the brake lines as well, I'm pretty sure the R33 brake lines are longer, so it shouldn't have any problems reaching.

Im chucking those 33s on today, they're definitely a better package.

The rotors are bigger, thicker and ventilated at the rear's as well.

The calipers are big, two piece and don't need a bracket like the S13 / A31, they just bolt straight onto the knuckle.

Front calipers are 4 piston, the rears are 2 piston, so they'll definitely go better. If you want MORE stopping power, get some of those 12 piston brakes of the of top of the line McLaren's :D

I think these things will have no drama's slowing even an RB25/26 Ceffy, considering how much lighter they are to the R3x Skylines.

As long as you aren't planing to use the hubs from the C35 on the front of your A31.

Why not?

EDIT: I used the complete front spindles from a C35 with my S14 calipers and rotors. They fitted with a little bashing of the dust shields and slightly shortened bolts that bolt the caliper to the knuckle.

Not sure if the C35 hub can be pressed on to the stock S13/A31 knuckle.

The front hubs from a skyline won't fit.

If you want 5 stud, you'll need to use S14/15 front hubs.

Alternatively, you can just have the rotors redrilled to 4 stud. I chose this path when I put R33 brakes on.

just jap have 5 stud conversion hubs for s13/c33/a31 knuckles which make life a little easier btw

Well i'm still no good at "car related" terms in English, but after googleing the names of the items u referred i think i'd try to explain what's comming ^_^ Conversion is going to be done by a "service", so as the ordering parts was done by them. I think it will be new knuckle, spindles, hubs and breaks of course =) So its more like a "complete set" of c35. Will see, should be here around next week i belive, will post up info once its here and done if you'r interested.

Sorry, for some reason I was thinking C35 would have double wishbone suspension, but now I remember my mate telling me he put S14 coilovers in his C35...

The hubs can't be swapped onto the spindles unfortunately as they are different diameter.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
