First off, don't make a threat to involve the authorities until you have both sides of the story.

Now since this guy has jumped shipped, had a whinge and been a complete tool, I'll express this to clear up my side of it.

I sent the item off the other Friday (not one just gone, one before) and the item wasn't received on Monday by the buyer, waited till Tuesday and I got home and the item was returned to me with a note on it "unknown address". I contacted the fella that night and let him know and he then sent the new address to me through here.

I was unable to send the item wednesday and thursday due to excessive work and not being able to make it to aust post on either of those days. I was suppose to also have friday off and send it off to him that day but due to a issue here at work that only i am able to resolve, i was called in and was left here to deal with the issue and was not able to leave until the issue was resolved leaving me to be late for my arrangements I had for SuperGP on the goldy and not able to make it to Australia Post before they closed.

Given that the condition I was in all weekend while at SuperGP, I was not in any state to send something off nor would I even attempt to in the case that it could be sent to the wrong address AGAIN.

The item was sent off yesterday by REGISTERED POST which was done out of my own pocket since I agreed to send the item including postage the first time. First time would be acceptable but since the address is 'unknown' to Australia Post, I would of thought the buyer would have some decency to help pay for the 2nd postage but no... he's harped on about not getting it and calling the police and making reports.

The police now have the tracking ID and will be keeping a eye on this.

A bit of information to the owner for his own sake so he doesn't make a ASS of himself anymore...

Learn to track your PM's and figure out how to know when the receiver of the msg has read it.

You've sent several PM's and I've not read them due to the lack of time I have to come on and check PM's, etc.

I was not answering calls yesterdays as I was recovering from the weekend.

1 call is far from enough to have to throw your arms up in the air buddy and make complains, left right and centre.

Edit Also to mention the fact I kept you up to date with everything to what I was doing and appologising that I was not able to make it to post office that day because of work commitments. All PM's were replied to when I had the chance to come online.

regardless, if i handed over cash for something, i really couldn't care much about how smashed the seller got over the weekend..!

as a regular buyer (and seller) i hate coming second after the seller's 'other' comittments. if your too busy, sell it when you have time to complete the transaction from start to finish.

I didn't ignore nothing dickhead... i didnt have time to come on here to check PM's during the day and at night since I have no net access at home I couldnt come on to check my PM's and when I did, it was you going off abusing and threatening me so I refuse to reply to such shit like that.

There were NO excuses given... they were valid reasons to why I was not able to send it off and when I did send it off, I told you and it's not my fault you gave me a false address in the first place that the box was returned to me. As far as I'm concerned, be thankful Aust Post even returned it back to me since I know they have left boxes just sit in a warehouse never to be sent to the send or receiptient again.

And as for the idiot thinking that work is not a higher commitement then sending off this item, maybe you should get a job.

get your facts right dickhead... it was sent off 2 days after he made payment and came back to me as unknown address.

if he gave me the right address in the first place, he would of had it on the monday/tuesday last week (since i sent it on the thursday before the tuesday it came back to me).

but yeh... go ahead and ban people who actually DO, do the right thing and keep idiots like this fella on here that blows his head off because he stuffed up on the postal address in the first place.

I dont wana make a bigger deal out of this, than it already is. But all i can is for everyone either selling or buying to try and be as professional as u can, that being making sure address's are right and also following up making sure the buyer gets whats paid for as soon as u can dude.

Also alot guys from forums i use screw me over for bank details having one digit wrong or missing. Gota treat it like a job and just double check everything.

did i or did i not confirm the address with you? Yes i did! this means the address was / is correct part of my key roles at work is freight handling moron

an item of the dimensions you sent shouldn't of taken 20 days to get here or anywhere unless YOU wrote the address wrong.

dont you think i know where i work ive only been working at the place for 10 years!!!!! some people are unbelievable....

and now your blaming Aust Post despite the fact we get deliveries everyday via Aust post and the one thing im waiting on they get wrong?

lets just they did.. RTS freight would of be in your possession a few days later a week after i still have nothing?

sometimes its just better to take responsibilities for your mistakes rather than blaming the whole world for them.

and thanks for the bad trader rating only you can give someone a bad trader rating for your errors

reality is you have both the manifold and the money as far as im concerned ... i STILL have neither

Thanks to everyone thats helped and supported me so far. hopefully this kind of thing serves as a warning to buyers and sellers alike

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
