An Elizabeth girl goes to Centrelink to register for child benefit

"How many children?" asks the assessor

"Ten" replies the Elizabeth girl

"Ten?" says the Centrelink worker

"What are their names?"

"Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan and Nathan"

"Doesn't that get confusing?"

"Naah..." says the Elizabeth girl, "It’s great because if they are out playing in the street I just have shout 'NATHAN, YER DINNER'S READY! Or NATHAN GO TO BED NOW!' and they all do it...’

"What if you want to speak to one individually?" says the perturbed Centrelink worker

"That's easy," says the Elizabeth girl..."I just use their surnames"

An Elizabeth girl enters an adult shop & asks for a vibrator

The man says: "Choose one from our range on the wall"

She says "I'll take the red one"

The man replies: "That's a fire extinguisher"

does anyone know a good place to get some webbing strap sewn?

ie: a tarpaulin or canvas place?

im a bit sure a upholsterer could do it and there should be one on research rd pooracha >>Here<<

Anyone after an immaculate clean M35 Autech stag.......I know someone who has one for sale :)

who ;)

i was tempted to when she told me what was going on.

i honestly cannot see how anyone can get any happiness or fulfillment out of a relationship when your partner is basically controlling your life.

I couldn't agree more. Which is why I prefer to stay single. People look at me strange when I say I'm happy on my own, and I could try and waste my breath explaining it but sadly most people just do not get it.... independance is liberty

Being single has nothing to do with it, you can still be single and retain your independence; clearly dating the wrong type of people

being single does not = liberty.

same as not being single does not exclude liberty.

just saying.

ive basically been able to do whatever the f**k i want whenever ive been in a relationship (save for sleeping around), and whoever ive been with has been cool with that because ive got a pretty solid perspective on this shit (just because you got a partner doesnt mean you stop living your life, including seeing friends of the other gender) and ive laid that out pretty clear from the get go, only had one girl that didnt get it, and we didnt last too long because of it.

well thats fair enough, i cannot dispute that point of view, as it is a pragmatists view - I have to agree..

I cant argue with this either since it is what I'm getting at. Did you mean 'you can still be in a relationship and still retain independance'?

If so, I agree with that too, however its a pretty special and precious thing if you can find it.

Correct, it was a case of typing before I thought...

Correct, it was a case of typing before I thought...

and i wont argue with u on the technicality - you find the right partner, whether ur a chick or a dude, you can have a good relationship if both parties agree to negotiate - however my point stands, once u been in a couple relationships it surely doesnt hurt to have a couple years 'off' or at least do yr own thing while looking for the next opportunity objectively, as in sitting back and looking at the bigger picture - and if you arent pressuring urself, and are happy doing ur own thing, then why not avoid the rigamarole of the dating game - society seems to think that everyone needs another part to keep em stable or sane.... pretty shallow imho

and it goes against common sense too.... the world is overpopulated and the churches/mosques/temples want us to be fruitful and multiply...cool in principle, but unless a society has the discipline to regulate a 1 child policy (like china) then nobody has the right to wantonly procreate when the resources are scarce. I think of the 'octomom' and say shes a perfect example of procreation gone wrong....

Human beings are a virus with shoes - people love to pretend we're evolved, but when you get down to it, there are species of bacteria with a more sophisticated social structure.

We're in the wrong country for a 1 child policy Ben.......with the baby boomers in the throws of retirement you'll need 10 times more peeps in the workforce to support them (pension) which means 2 children to replace the parents and 1 for society (as per Peter Costello's quote).

Opens up another can of worms because there are peeps out there that will criticize those that try and buy investment property so as not to rely on hand outs (aka pension) but then the X's & Y's will criticize that as well....you can't win either way no matter what you do, LOL

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
    • There is a guy who said he can weld me piping without having to cut chassis, maybe I do that ? Or do I just go reverse flow but isn’t reverse flow very limited once again?
    • I haven’t yet cut the chassis, maybe I switch to a reverse flow. I’ve got the Intercooler mounted as I already had it but not cut yet. Might have to speak to an engineer
    • Yes that’s another issue, I always have a front mount, plus will be turbo plus intake will big hasstle. I’ve been told if it looks stock they’re fine with it by a couple others who have done it ahahaha.    I know @Kinkstaah said the stock gtt airbox is limiting but I might just have to do that to avoid a defect so it atleast looks legit. Or an enclosed pod so it’s hidden away and feed air from the snorkel and below Intercooler holes like kinstaah mentioned. Hmm what to do
