loosen the gearbox mounts and take the engine mounts off the engine as its most likely pulling up on the box and wont seperate from the input shaft

had the same problem with my 3 motors

thanks mate ill get onto it first thing in the morn.....

Dale, do you have anymore 215/45R17s in your treasure chest??

No sorry mate i forgot to reply to your SMS the other night. I'm not sure what i ahve got but i'm 99% sure that there aren't any 215's in there. I do have a full set of 205/50/17 but i'm not sure that i want to let them go as they are hard to find and have the "same" sidewall as 235/45/17.

i stick with what i know.....more research needs to be done in looking at caltex's 98RON fuel by me...so for the time being sticking with BP Ultimate 98

i've been using the caltex 98 for the last 6 weeks, has been working perfectly well. its the exact same fuel mobil sell as 98 octane

i paid 135.9ish before it get cheap for Tuesday. I dont really take much notice of how much fuel costs, even if BP ends up being 125 compared to 135, the saving in your pocket isnt enough to cover the pack of chewies you bought while you were inside.

other thing is, u can get 4c off per liter using the shopadockets thru caltex-woolworths and shell-coles...

any suggestions for new wheels?

No on 11rs. Yes on CST.

But why are you bothering on wheels if you want to sell the car?

I've always sworn by BP 98. With all my turbo cars.

I'll even go out of my way to drive to a BP to fill up.

It's how I f**king roll around here. BP = Big Penis. That's why I go there.

Im confused. Are you going there to use (stroke and/or suck) the "Big Penis"?

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
