After buying 3 lots of bonnet struts.. I seem to have bought 3 that only had a few weeks left in them.. How good is that!? haha.

Am after another set for regency, as they defected me for that, even though I got passed last time without it fine. :S

So lets get it bloody dealt with once and for all, if anyone knows where to get them regassed that would help too, I'm sure I saw something on it here somewhere, but I cant find it. :ninja:

Thanks

Adam.

Note: Just realised I didnt post it in classifieds. :P

The fully JDM ones I had (Nissan genuine), were picked up last night man, $20, blown :ninja: BUT, I think Jason (Dorigecko) is going to regass them and flog them off with an extra digit on the end....or something.

Cant help you with getting them regassed in SA though, YellowPages man.

I bought brand new Monroe's

Part #: ML4731

Cost me just under $100, but it was easy as piss to install and they work awesome, lift the bonnet a few inches and it lifts itself the rest of the way.

A32 is generally unrelated to A31 in most ways - chassis design has some similarities and same body characteristics, but A31 was the only "true" Cefiro. I thought it'd still be closer to S13 / R32.

See if you can find a compatibility chart for Monroe and see what it matches in other brands?

I'll have a look after work today, and try and find some online Aussie stores that sell internationally for ya.

i can get them here in the us. It seems that they were around $25usd each brand new. It does seem silly to ship them to you guys, but i can pick them up off the shelf at the local parts store. Open and closed length are identical to the OE nissan ones. Let me know if anyone is interested.

While the Aussie dollar is strong on the USD, and tipped to actually be worth (apparently), it wouldnt be such a dumb idea. I've shipped stuff to the US and had stuff from US shipped to me - shipping prices really arent that expensive.

Although I would recommend getting air freight, its a bit extra but it gets tracking, and it takes 10 days not 3+ months - definately worth it.

What size are they? (OR do you have a US part number?) I'm sure I can find some local, but I don't know what size. And I don't feel like doing the buy/return cycle to find some that fit.

Have you shipped big stuff? Like... motors? I really want to build an RB30. =)
