Ive never owned a skyline until last week, and never worked on one till tonight.

Going to change the exhaust manifold gasket as its leaking, where abouts can I buy this part in melbourne? I would like to pick it up tomorrow if possible.

Also while im changing the gasket should there be anything else I should change/check out?

Also is it straight forward? Just unbolt everything remove old gasket/clean up put new one back on? No special tools or methods etc?

Thanks.

Hey mate, im from sydney but all my gaskets i get from nissian genuine parts and they seem to ship them up from melbourne so i would hit up nissian genuine parts just look for a dealer near by you with a parts section? There about $100+ dollars not cheap (cant remember exactly $$$) While your there u can change the exhaust studs aswell there cheap about $2 each. Just give the head and mani a good clean before you put it together and then just inspect and clean up. What model/motor.

R33, RB25DET... will make some calls today, hope they have it in stock so I can get this car running tonight....

How many studs do I need and what size (rang up bursons and they need to know the size)

Bursons are no help for anything imported, just get them from nissan they will be able to look up the part you need.

from nissan for a stock one or STATUS sell the veer metal gaskets... i have one in my car :/

if your replacing it anyway, might as well upgrade it

Last time i was at status they didnt have an exhaust manifold gasket.
