It has been brought to my attention that whoring is getting out of hand again.

It has caused acouple of businesses to discontinue using the boards, which doesn't bode well for when we approach these places for sponsership in the near future. It is also attributing to the slow speeds some dial-up user have been complaining about.

so please keep to the topic and only whore in the whore thread.

I will be cracking down on it till the new year. Threads that are closed will not be re-instated.

instead of wasting a whole thread and annoying the people that are ACTUALLY talking seriously in it, why dont you post a warning first, telling certain people to stop whoring. If they continue you can ban them for a day or week ... or u can close the thread if you have warned people and they have continued.

I know this msg in itself is a warning to the users on the board, BUT, i still think it would be more fair for the people talking seriously if the persons whoring were pointed out, and asked to cease doing so. that way the more serious conversations can continue.

Ive seen many topics go to waste because they are closed because of some twit that spams random crap and the rest suffer from it.

This "whoring" is getting sh*t outta hand ever since a few key members joined.

How about this....

*NO WHORETOWN

*NO WHORING IN THREADS

*ALL OFF TOPIC POSTS TAKEN TO THE GENERAL WASTELAND.

That people can't take it to PMing/ICQ/MSN or even IRC, hell, even requiring a whoretown is beyond me.

they tried that - but as you know TJ most of us dont like mIRC.

Sounds like a politician ...."Lets shut down the only avenue people have for whoring to stop whoring" "Say wha?"

A lot of friendships have been formed in that thread and i think it would be a mistake to shut it myself. I think people that are whoring in the inappopriate threads should be sent a warning ...... when i first joined SAU i didnt know what Whoretown was used for i just thought it was you guys being dirty buggers. :D

yeah because WA has so many other resourceful threads at the moment  ..... :) and the quality justs going to go ...up, up, up when you shut down whoretown .... the first thing we do when someone opens up a shitty trivial thread like some we've seen in the past is tell them to discuss it in whoretown first instead of starting up a thread for it. Soon as you shut down Whoretown your going to have all these shitty little "tufa" like threads again. Whoretown isnt even used as much as it used to be ..... in fact its probably used 1/3 not even that as much as it used to be used so i dont know where the bandwidth issue comes in.

i agree, the forums have gone downhill rapidly in the last year. whoretown is a waste of time and resources, and the cause of many frustrating "the server is too busy" messages when you try and look up something useful. maybe if people developed a certain level of social skill we wouldnt need internet threads in order for you to 'make friends'.

How about a Poll of the general population of SAU to vote whoretown out/mIRC plugin in?

Democracy is always good, and would prevent "committee members" just deciding that they like whoretown, so everyone has to put up with it.

There is a General Conversation forum where everyone can whore as much as they like. Let's keep it semi-tidy.

I can almost bet money on the fact that each state having thier own whoretown contributed to the "Server Busy" errors we recently had, and forced the upgrade of the server.

This is an online community, not a chit-chat/dating agency.

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
