I had a similar experience with ANOTHER seller that held me out for three moths on a paid for HKS Tubular Exhaust.

I suspect he sold it to someone else as well and then had to find another one to supply me with which took him some time.

I did eventually get it, so I hope that you get your goods soon as well.

Hang in there... he may have personal circumstances causing the problem, no excuse not to contact you, but my seller did the same to me, but came through in the end.

Thats bullcrap man! Il be so pissed off too. paying $550 for an item and had to wait and doesnt even heard from the seller for 3 months! WTF!! that is just Bullcrap. Man i feel for ya!

I had a similar experience too. Having people saying that his out of state, saying that he doesnt have time to jump online(well they were his mates ofcorse). Guess wat! he was online not long ago!!!!!

I done some research on the guy and he is one of the biggest scammer on car sites! Alot of people is looking for him.

well anyways. these kind of people should be cleaned up!

I did some searching too, to try and find out the full story and I couldn't even find the for sale thread with said coilovers in it, well, not one that said they were sold.

I'm not trying to stick up for the seller at all and I do feel for the buyer but at the same time there is a right and wrong way to do things and it's looking more and more like they have both done the wrong thing. I would be pissed about it too don't get me wrong and 3 months is a long time to wait and from the looks of it the OP has already tried to buy another set of coilovers from another seller and that was nowhere near 3 months ago.

???? I dont know phantom32 personally but im gonna buy some parts off him 2nite, he's gonna give me a buzz later on. Were doing a simple cash swap for the things im buying.

he's been sick lately which is what he told me - just spoke to him 5minutes ago on the mobile, he's in the eastern suburbs; seems like a pretty straight forward guy, i mean if he was dodgy, he would have asked me to deposit money into his bank account.

anyways, i can ask him about anyones transactions with him when i meet him tonight - maybe clear the air a bit

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
