Rb26 Gearbox -> Rwd Config

Greetings all.

I've just joined up as Boostcruising and Google are absolutely useless at providing information for me.

Basic story goes as follows... My uncle bought a low K's, un-thrashed R32 GTR Half cut. Intends to do something ridiculous with it (he won't tell me what though).

He needs the box changed to RWD configuration (and the sump modified?) and asked for my help as he doesn't computer.

What exactly needs to be done to the box? (and sump if needed)

ps - I know a RB25 box bolts up, but they are expensive! And some people want 600 for a broken (yes, BROKEN) one. If it's a hard job or quite expensive, I'll sort out a RB25 gearbox for him. (Anyone got one for sale PM Me, Also swap for RB26 box cash either way - also chasing a broken one that is cheap for my own side project)

its pretty much just cutting all the bits off you dont want and welding alloy plate over it for both

He's got a 26 box already. It'll be cheaper to mod it then buy a 25 box.

I saw a broken 25 box for 600 bucks as I suggested to him swapping out the gearset at the 26 box has a longer first gear?
