lol. Had 235s on my stockie 33GTR wheels (9"). Minimal stretch, if any.

There will be a bit of stretch for that size for sure but I suppose joey's argument for running 235 is to be more practical/cost saving as its down to the dollars from what he's suggesting.

Personally I'm not a big fan of stretched tyres but I know of people who loves the look of them (particularly people who loves dishes).

Never seen 235s on 9s but the 285s I have on my 9.5s fits perfectly with no stretching at all. However, I have another friend with 265s on 10s and they look a bit stretched. I was told 265s would be the perfect size for 9s though.

you're running 285s! jesus brandon, im impressed :)

for 9" i go 215 :D

i run 235's to fit under the guards... the $$$ is a bonus tho... its just that the price difference between a 235 and a 245 is less than the performance difference

Yea. Thats a good enough reason I suppose. If you can justify it and dont mind the look + its legal, I dont see why you shouldnt do it.

I thought you knew? They came with the rims I bought which was a bargain imo.

i do like the look and 245's on a 9.5" is the minimum legal size :)

the 235's are technically illegal, but still within manufactures specs for some tyres
