Crank Timing Pulley

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me how far the crank timing pulley needs to go on? The manual doesn't say and there are no marks on the crank apart from a grove just in front of the oil pump oil seal. Does it go onto the edge of this? Does the harmonic balancer position it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There should be a disk that goes between this timing belt cogs and the oil pump then another disk on the front between the cog and the Harmonic balancer.

I realize that but I still need to know where the gear goes as I don't want to jam the disk against the oil pump and I also don't want it on to loose.

I am not sure I understand there isn't anything that secures the timing gear by itself. The Balancer pushes up against it holding it in place. against the disk and the part of the crank that just extrudes fro mthe oil pump seal.
