Hey guys, Ive found a car in japan and have the shipping ready but im not sure what the processes are in WA towards importing , any details would be great .

Firstly what have you bought, who from, did you use a broker and do you know much about importing cars into Australia.

im looking at a gtr , the companies called CARCHS Co.Ltd(if anyone has delt with them please let me know) , i havent brought it yet and not much. Whats the broker for ? . thats what im trying to find out the details, im new to all of this

Carchs Co is a large domestic car yard here in japan im pretty sure also they will not export the car for you, you would need to use a company like ourself to export it and do the domestic purchase of the vehicle on your behalf.

Do some research so you don't get burnt by some car dealer or rocket scientist of an exporter in Japan before buying, there is many a thread on this forum on how to buy and what the pit falls are.

There are so many post on this subject the moderators will more then likely close this thread.
