lol... that's 2 days to work and back for me!

I dunno how you put up with it mate

Are you driving in stop start traffic or highways? On my way to the snow last year I got down to 10-11L/100km, but in the city my consumption is north of 17L/100.. I tried out Shells premium 98 last week. around 20L/100 pinch.gif Lucky I had one of those discount barcodes for it. Back to BP!

bit of both(well its on stands at the moment)

its coz i have the emanage installed with a base tune to get me from a - b.

so its running rich as!

Only marginally less efficient than my car :P

I need to put more KMs on mine after an ECU reset.. have to learn it back in for another couple of hundred KM -which should lean it out slightly. Then emanage to take care of the rest ph34r.gif

    • New euro in the house for the wifey. Had to make sure it was good enough that I wouldn't mind driving it when needed. Introducing the 2021 JCW flamin mongrelryman. B48 2.0T 225kw 450nm 8spd AWD 0-100 in 5.1. 1/4 mile in the mid to high 13's. Not bad. It's a little animal on take off and zippy AF around town. She loves the thing and secretly so do I. Just got to pray to BMW Jesus that it doesn't do too many BMW things. Previous owner looked after it like a newborn. It's, I mean was absolutely unmarked and spotless.     360mm factory rotors with cooling ducts. Wonder if they'll stand up to track abuse...
    • It will happen, give it time. 🫢
    • Decent result Greg, sounds tuff AF👍   When is the Whipple or procharger getting fitted?😉
    • Oh there's no way in hell I'm doing it to modern cars. This was on some lancer shit box decades ago with silly gauges that started beeping when the voltage was outside of operating range
    • Not just stop start. New modern cars with their stupid "smart" alternators. Even funnier is watching cars when you drop them into eco mode. A lot of them don't crank the alternator up to full charge for very long at all. EVs and how they charge their 12V lead acid battery is even worse! Also, you should never disconnect the battery, on a running car. The voltage spikes can break things. Basically while it's a "battery" it is also considered a "Capacitor" within the charging system, and helps to keep those spikes non existent. Yay for alternators being inductive.
