well damo you club exec's must have a lack of commuinication due to the fact steve said non members can purcuse stickers and mercandise which would include shirts ect and your saying they cant!

Andrew said duh to me like im dumb or something for asking why non members can buy a sticker, because he recons you cant and your saying they can lmfao

bit silly to hand out stickers to non club members , if they get caught doing stupid tricks on the road it associates all of us to them ? and our stance is to take it to the track, responsible driving ????

make the general stickers different to paying member's??? just a thought

+1 hun

just a thought guys,

maybe the SAUSA stickers are more like the old school japanese drift club bumper stickers

that way you can make the background like all red/yellow/watever - and itll be obvious from afar that you are SAUSA as apposed to the standard SAU stickers

so for example, japenese drift club bumper sticker;

they would look hot if it was all red but had white "SAU-SA" or similar - and it'd stand out from a mile away

just my 2c

Everyone needs to calm the hell down.

There is no "us" and "them" ..... SAU club and forum are closely linked, and always will be. The general public are not going to distinguish between member and non-member stickers, so who cares. Anyone wearing an SAU sticker should do their part to help uphold the SAU name either way.

And if you want to enjoy track days, discounts, special member only meets, then join SAU:SA, if you don't then just stay a member of the forums. No problem, it is a free world.

Why does everyone always have to get their knickers in a knot?

:D LOL

no i dont but seriously this is why i wanted to start a car club to get it more face to face other than on a forum so people withoput computers can be in a club recieve paper newsletters ect in the 9 or so months it was taen away from me i have been notified about nothing! and everything i intended for the car club has been thrown out the window and even people that slamed the idea of mine are now executives lmao when they wanted nothing to do with the club in the first place never came to any meetings are bbq we had to get this going. So yes its dumb you pay to be a member and you get a sticker but even if your not a member you can still bloody buy one

end rant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

another reason why the stickers are sold to the masses is because youd be hard pressed to find a printing company who will do such small runs of the stickers. For a small growing club like ours, it isnt economically viable to produce 100+ stickers to sell them to 45ish (at the time of last sticker printing) members.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
