Help Please?

Just bought a r32 actuator off sau to give me an extra few psi... (got an r33 s2... only mods are turbo back exhaust (brand new) and a pod... ).... put a new hose from the new actuator straight to the side of the t-bar for the intercooler... (just bypassed the solenoid - as i'm aware i'm supposed to) anyway checked everything... went for a drive... turbo took a lil longer to spool then went straight off the gauge (just the stock gauge.. so over the +7 or 1 bar) .... scared the hell out of me.... gently accelerated couple more times... boost barely gets over the 0 on the gauge then wants to skyrocket.... could i have done something wrong or have i just been sold a dodgy actuator...

help please...

you've done exactly what i did when mine went on. did you block off ALL the other hoses? just make sure you do because i cant remember which one i forgot to block, but i had the same result

The factory gauge is a joke lol its far from correct.

Did you hear alot of detonation or bad noises if not should be ok.

But yes check you have blocked off other lose hoses.

It should be running 9psi if no bleeder/ restrictor in vac line.

what the f**k is the t bar ?

run a hose straight from the ic pipe nipple to the waste gate . 11 psi

Sure you haven't run the hose from the bov return pipe?

if you connect it to the T piece then the actuator will never see 10psi, because its being bled away before it gets there.

You need to run ONE line from the actuator to the intercooler pipe. Block off the rest.
