Random Bits And Pieces

Recommended Posts

All our stuff used to be stored in the carport until we started to redo the driveway and extensions to the house so its all just sitting in our house taking up space.

Everything is located in the HORNSBY area, depending on what you buy i might be able to deliver or meet halfway somewhere.

Onix Evaporative Cooler used once - Works good, mum bought it thinking it would cool down a room lol but its pretty much like a fan but blows cold air rather than recirculating the warm air. - $60ono Still have the box i think

Dual 12" Sub Enclosure with minor damage to one side- Subs facing outwards at an angle - Subs included but theyre either broken or crap quality, you can take em out and ill throw em in the bin - $30

Audio Gods Dual 10" Sub Enclosure in very good condition - Subs facing internally at an angle located behind some perspex type plastic. Subs included but they are very old and not worth keeping - $40

White Nike Air Force Ones Size 7US - Brand new, selling on behalf of friend - $80ono

White Nike Air Force Ones Size 13US - Brand new, cant afford it and havent even got them yet lol, will be picking them up on thursday, was too late to ask for a refund so only option is too sell now - $90 firm

Ps2/Xbox steering wheel with pedals - Can be used on both consoles, a bit dusty but would pass of as new when cleaned up, bought it for gran turismo but grew out of it after 2-3 times using it - $100 in 2007 - Asking $25

Have a few P4 Dell Computers, one HP and an acer, all have their problems but they all turn on and make it to to the desktop. - More info if your interested - None have more than 256mb ram and no more than 20GB HDD.

Aerial Aerobic Stepper - Good small exercise machine - The battery cover which also acts as a holder for the step counter is broken so i taped it onto the handle - $30

Six very strong dining chairs - Built solid and was part of a $600 set but with the table gone im guessing its worth about $150 taking into consideration of the minor wear and tear on the wood and fabric. But if your genuinely interested ill sell them for cheap as long as you can pick them up - Ute would or truck would be necessary.

Framed Ford V8s picture, no glass and lightweight frame - Ambrose, lowndes and ingall cars - Obviously from the time they were all at ford - $20

Framed Mustangs Picture - Glassed and multicoloured frame - 2005 mustang concept as the feature car with about 12 smaller pictures of old and new mustangs with labels underneath each one. - $50ono

Also have some tropical fish for sale, and breeding setups - Not too sure on details as my dad breeds and supplys his friends aquarium shop. Contact if interested

More random crap will be added as its all sitting in the house and with the rain etc doubt the extensions will be done anytime soon.

Dont hesistate on offers and swaps. Will take more photos when theres some interest in an item.

Also have some car parts which ill be adding into the car parts section so i can do deals if your buying multiple items but most of its priced to go already

Having trouble with photos due to laptop and internet but guarantee ill have most up before 11pm today , will resize and upload at a mates house.

    • some people are still around weirdly enough - most people just use facebook now to ask the same 12 questions tho XD
    • Omg Rezz! Yep we're still here and actually seeing a trickle of oldies coming back.  How's things?
    • So I raised the car up a fair bit for shipping - see image - then lowered it again when it arrived. I then rushed to get an alignment in NL before the track and the shop just wasn’t anywhere near as precise as what I got in Japan. The guys that did the alignment this week said there was a fair amount of toe in the rear that could have contributed to the understeer. It was also the case that the rear camber went from about -2 to -3 at the shop in NL. However, since I’ve now got slightly wider tires in the rear - NS2Rs run wider than Accelera 651S - I could only get a minimum of -3 in the rear now due to clearance. Front is now -2.75 (-2.45 in minutes) due to being raised a bit (previously -3 in JP). So it’s likely a combination of the two factors, camber and toe. The issue now is I have more camber in the rear than the front and the next step on the front Cusco arms will put me at -3.5ish front which seems a bit excessive to me. The weird thing is I’ve never had any understeer at the track in Japan but they are very different circuits - Japanese circuits are much slower than the one I’ve been to here.    I’m probably going to have to start another thread for the E90. The plan is sort of to keep it as a daily but progressively mod it into a track car - honestly, you need a cage for the sort of speeds you go here. Just ordered the M3 front arms btw.  Love the car despite it being in pretty shitty condition. Oil analysis came back okay and it seems to have stopped consuming oil since fixing a load of engine bay things. Saw yours is a 335i right? f**king mistake on my part getting the DI N53 over the N52, fuel economy is insanely good though at 14-16 km/L.   Cheers, it’s great to see the benefits and pitfalls of different places. I’m contemplating going back to the U.K. around next year as the cost of living in the Netherlands is just ridiculous. GF is nagging me to settle and buy a house but I don’t know what LSD to buy.
    • Have you seen the Milwaukee Train Horn? It's a beast! I stumbled upon it while browsing for upgrades. I'm thinking of adding it to my ride for some serious sound. Here's the link if you wanna check it out: https://bosshorn.com/products/milwaukee-train-horn. Anyway, thanks again for sharing your method.
    • Anybody home...? I used to moderate this part of SAU about 20 years ago... hard to beleive it's still around basically unchanged with all the old posts pinned at the top. Amazing to read all those posts again.  If anyone drops by, I'm still in Japan (Nishinomiya, between Osaka and Kobe).  Cheers 🙂
