The AFR's in the INJ MAP don't match the actual measured AFR's in the MAP WATCH?

The AFR in the MAP WATCH in correct & is the same as the gauge.

I think I read on the datalogit forum it's to do the the AFM voltage settings or something like that.

Does any body know how do I get the INJ MAP to be the same or a closer match to the actual measured AFR?

what ever is on the map is raw uncorrected value

so water temp, air temp and boost can correct the real time injection, you can see it as Kij under SETTING, INJ/IGN ADJ, Kij from memory is the real time applied injection

ive found the maps for INJ were in lambda and you simply leaned in/out depending on what came out at the rear. im not sure the software is setup well enough to dial in AFR on the map, and out comes AFR at the rear exhaust. the maps on the hand controller are in fuel correction value from memory, so its not an exact AFR. so it appears datalogti is trrying to emulate a "dial your own AFR"

also depends if you have bigger injectors or not... if you do you need to 'size' theminthe power fc to get the values to line up...

its also best not to do this on idle as they will always be a a bit out. make sure your closed loop function is off too (O2 feedback)

i've found just ignoring the softwares afr guess is the best way to go. And just use the logging from an an1-2.

But if you buggerrise round with the air flow curves enough you can get it closer. but it's too much hassle to worry about. I wish you could use milisecond injector tuning

Bingo, it can take forever to match the AFM voltage curve to get it even close.. add cams, plenum etc and you can spend days...

OP ignore the values if you are just starting out, just make sure there are no big jumps. Make sure it is all smooth.

Another thing is remmeber things like accel pump etc will show up on short logs so it is best to read the logged AFR in spots of consistant tps or ignore the first part of your accel run as it will show up rich due to the extra accel pump fuel injected. make sure 02 feedback is switched off whilst tuning.

Hey thanks everyone for the help.

Does any 1 know why my laptop kept crashing?

I never had a problem with it until yesterday. I went out for about an hour & basically lost most of the data, as the laptop would restart roughly every 20 minutes. All the data coming in seems too much for it to handle & I know the laptop is more than capable of doing the job.

Any ideas?
