hey guys

ive noticed that my clutch fan in my GTR may be stuffed? when i drive the car for around 15 or so minutes, i can hear the fan blowing alot of air, more noticable during acceleration of coarse...seems to be putting alot of drag on the engine and doesnt rev as "easy" compared to when the fan isnt engaged.

when the car was bone cold, i tried to spin the fan by hand, i put my finger on the very top of the fan and gave it a spin to see how far it will rotate, prob went about 90degrees, maybe even less, seems to be very tight and doesnt spin freely...

is it time for a new clutch fan?

should they be more "loose" and spin more freely?

when should they 'engage'? operating temp is normal, and engine temp doesnt go beyond 85degrees....

thanks
