A few things that people may want to know would be:

- Has the car had any major accidents that you can tell? (minor panel damage wouldn't matter at this price)

- In the first ad you quote R34 GT-R wheels, then say selling without wheels, which bit is correct? If not, then what wheels and condition of tyres?

- When was the last service?

- Any exhaust mods?

- What colour?

- Did you do mods or were they made in J-land?

- Has it been tuned with current mods?

Answers to these as well as posting pics (PM me if you're having probs with that), may expedite the sale and help increase genuine offers as a possibility.

Cheers and good luck with the sale.

Cheers

Brendan

There have been some spammers, kids on school holidays making posts on other forums with cars for sale at ridiculous prices.

Has anyone received an email from this person? I am starting to think it's a hoax.

if you think its a hoax fine doent bother me, im selling it on saturday if not here then to any dealer which will give me cash, and really for that price why are people worried if it have any scretchs or last srvice,

Hehehehe, nice. Basic questions that can point towards a bargain or a lemon that'll cost the new owner an additional $10K to fix it up. Really, they're not that difficult to answer and questions that may reduce the amount of time you may take answering them to others asking the same questions over and over. In the end it's your call really. Again good luck.

if you wanna a quick sale, you will have to provide more info on it. maintenance and parts for a GTR are not cheap and people wanna noe where and esp wat they are investing their money into. its like buying a cheap bungalow only to realised that its built on a croc invested swamp.

granted the fact that your price is fantastic for a 32 GTR but i believe many would rather pay more for a peace of mind.

good luck with the sale.

If you want to sell it then answer it... $15000 for a decent GTR is a bargain, but $15000 for a lemon.. well you work it out. If you can provide more details, then people will stop asking questions and you will narrow down queries to only genuine buyers. Looking forward to getting more details.

    • Oil change does not trigger code 21. Code 21 is for coilpacks primary side connection. You can try to clear the code with a battery disconnect, hold down the brake pedal to drain capacitors through the brake lights with the ignition on for 10-15 seconds before you reconnect the battery. I have seen R35 coil conversion permanently cause this code with no ill effects so it might be the resistance it wants to see isn't quite right on one or more coilpacks. Could be inside the ECU, could be the harness, could be a coil. You can test it all if you want or just ignore until the car actually starts misfiring.
    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
    • No. I think it might be the AFM. Hence the use of the terms "swaptronics", which implies the use of swapping out electronics for the purpose of diagnosis. It's about the only way to prove that a small/niggling/whatever problem with an AFM or a CAS or similar is actually caused by that AFM/CAS/whatever. A known good item swapped in that still gives the same problem is likely to be caused somewhere else. They're all the same. Spraying AFMs with cleaner is an each way bet between cleaning it and f**king it.
    • Oh wow! This might actually work amazingly. Do you know the ratio of the diff? I was told the only thing you need to make sure of is if the front & rear diff ratios are the same. Ours is a 4.083 Thanks!
    • You think its the AFM? I know its a common issues on R32s. I find it coincidental how this issue raised right after cleaning the fuel system. As everything except the fuel system was fine before. I tried running it with the IACV unplugged but did not notice a difference and still stalled. However, the RPM gauge is not in the cluster right now, so I will need to connect the laptop again and use Nistune to check the RPM. I will check this weekend.
