Should all meet at like woolies legana and cruise to westbury via bridgenorth or frankford. Roads not too bad and andy's at westbury is a pretty nice spot to stop and chat. Just a thought. I'd be in....

too bad those places are in hobart mate

think the next meet is going to be up in lonnie again seeing as we have a few stags up here

i got my rotors machined so i'm keen to hit some twisties again

had an awesome time chasing my mates bwm through the sideling the other day

he also said that there was a pretty awesome road out by liffey falls that goes down to the lakes, Lake Highway (imaginative name lol)

how about everyone meets in tunbridge, then head up to deloraine via the back roads, but i think he said it turned to dirt after the lakes

whatever, next meet and cruise is needed :)

you stagea Navigation must be out of a volvo because Legana westbury bridgenorth and frankford are all on the western side of the tamar. well westburys on the way to devonport but still the west side of launceston.

you cant get a round trip over the lakes without hitting some ruff gravel roads. thats the worst thing about the lakes. no point driving up there.

im pretty sure last time i went up to the lakes from tunbridge it was gravel for about 1/2 an hour of driving.

oh funk i forgot all the smily faces :):(

that means im taking the piss.

Yeh that sounds like a nice drive, id be in providing im not working or anything

i think the best idea is see if theres some interest then just to set a date and time if your willing to do somthing or else they prob wont get to be much more then ideas lol, even if only a few cars turn up itd still b good fun >_<

oh and those places are def up north

my bad, i thought legana was down hobart way, should have check with google maps

i just wanna see how my stag compares to everyone else's

seeing as im not from down here i'll leave it to someone else to organise the cruise but i think we should get it rolling

earlier the date is set the more time ppl will have to get the date off work etc

for whoever was looking for a stagea, there is a dealer in inversek selling a nice black s1 for under $9k and it looks pretty clean

think it was at greg crick wholesale place round the back of the honda dealer

cant remember who was saying but someones mate wanted to buy a stag

Dammit!! just done a water pump on the 32. Don't worry i'll get her going again within the next week or so.

Well sounds like we need to make a plan, stick to it and see who rocks up.

R32's allowed yer? :)

Cruises could be pretty big and half decent here really. I've got a couple mates that would come, so if we can all bring a couple of mates be well worth it.

think it should be a neeesan cruise really

but then some ppl who want to come have moved on from nissans

Once again, start saying people cant turn up cause they drive the wrong brand of car and our askin for it to fail from the start.

Some of the best cruises I have been on have been multi club, free for all events. Anybody remember that huge one that started at Bathurst street car park and ended up in Bridport for a bbq and beach cricket? Think that was way back in the days when Platinum were still around in force.

Just extend the invite to all and dont restrict who can come along and a great day will unfold... :)

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
