Hey guys, I'm swapping out my stock airbox and K&N filter for the twin Apexi power intake pod kit and wanted to know if I should be worrying about a retune. I'm not worried about heat soak of the pods because the car is driven Fwy everywhere and never really in traffic. That and it's winter now :( but just having a dumb moment and can't think if I'd need a tune or not. I'm thinking not but thought I'd ask anyways.

Thanks

well it's all in and been working great for the past couple of weeks. Interestingly I don't get the plume of black carbon and smoke at 4-5000rpm I used to get with the stock airbox, also the car feels more responsive on the throttle. I pulled the entire stock airbox out (naturally) but left the intake that feeds the airbox that comes from the front bumper up into just under the passenger side headlight. It's now forcing cold air into it though. I took off the resonator box that it normally feeds from that sits in the bumper, this was a sealed box interestingly, so that went and I took out the round plastic tube and cut it down a little so I could turn it around to face the front of the car and it feed cold air from the factory hole in the bumper. Free CAI for me :)
