I would recommend you get the exhaust from CES Racing. They are fully Australian made and shipped all over the world Fully bolt on. Also the guy the came up with this twin dump pipe design so to increase flow by putting the waste gate in separate and boy does it work and the wastgate sound is perfect and legal unlike those stupid screamer crap.

I bought mine from Trevor and was the best upgrade and sound. Better the any china junk and will kick most big name brands.

Specs:

3" NISSAN R34 GTT

$1850 MILD STEEL BASE COST

$2250 STAINLESS STEEL UPGRADE

+ 3”TURBO TWIN DUMP PIPE- MILD STEEL (PAINTED)

+ 3” HI FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER FULLY FLANGED

+ 3” CENTRE SECTION WITH OVAL RESONATOR

+ 3” TWIN TIPPED POLISHED S.S. OVAL REAR MUFFLER

+ SILVER CERAMIC COATED TWIN DUMP PIPE EXTRA

+ PRICING CHOICES AVAIL. M.S. OR S.S. PIPEWORK

+ POWER PICK UP 40 KW @THE WHEELS

+ 2 DOOR & 4 DOOR MODELS

40Kw at the wheels is good power for just the exhaust and no cheap system will get this power. The system is legal db also and you can have a cannon or stock look.

Through in a K&N panel filter in you stock air box, front mount, good electric boost controller and a good dyno tune and you should see around 200 Kw at the wheels.

You are changing the way the car breathes so make sure you get the dyno tune to check air fuel and get the best out of the car with or without the boost controller.

Just my two cents, let us know what ya do and how you go.

For us to help choose the right exhaust you need to let us know your plans for the car. Will you stop at fmic and front mount? What is your budget?

The CES Racing exhaust above is certainly very good but quite pricey and I think not always necessary on stock turbo. Tell us more about your plans for the car and we can help you out.

personally i'd just be going something like a x-force full turbo back exhaust (or the just jap one, which is the same thing). at the end of the day, as far as the catback part of it is concerned there is a limit to how much difference in flow there will be between different exhausts. all that you will get from more expensive systems is a slightly quieter car as they use better mufflers. sure the more expensive systems may have slightly better cat converters and dump pipes, but they will also set you back close to $1000 more, and for that sort of money you could get a nistune installed and make up the difference in power and a fair bit more i'd say. if you are planning on going for big power down the track then you could go for the better system to start with, but then if doing that i'd go for a 3.5" system instead of a 3" system.

Hey sorry for the late reply!!

Im not doing a whole heap to it, just the basics for now, so pod filter, fmic, exhaust, boost controller and any other basic things.

I did look at a stainless steel turbo back exhaust from xforce delivered for $1400 which so far is pretty good, my budget will be roughly 5 to 6 grand so im leaning towards the xforce at the moment!

I'd love to see CES vs xforce on stock cars, i strongly recomend even just the twin dump pipe and another exhaust at least, that xforce dump pipe one will be restrictive and create turbulence.. The results speak for themselves from ces., better design = more power..

Just my two cents

p.s. don't wast your time on a pod.. You will just attract the police when they lift the bonnet and there is no gain over a K&N panel.

QUESTION: What has the car got for an exhaust at the moment. if it is cat back (like most that come to AUS) just put a twin dump pipe and highflow cat for about $700, K&N Panel and tune should see about 185kw at the wheels.

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
