HISTORY OF THIS CAR:

Came into Australia (Brisbane) in 2002 with the strut brace and shock

absorbers as the only modifications. After a full service, and new timing

chains were fitted, the car was complied and registered in QLD.

After I purchased the car, later in 2002, I performed the above

modifications using reputable and experienced workshops to carry out the

work. (Receipts available.) The car then received an engineers certificate

and was registered in NSW. Registration expires in June, 2004.

The car is in excellent general condition for its age and has been well

maintained.

pics sent..

for all others wanting pics...

it would be easier to show you an almost identical pic I found on the net..

see here..

http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/dr30skyline/my.htm

the only difference between that and the one here for sale is that, the one for sale has a 600 x 300 front mount..

everything else looks identical.

Curious as I am looking for a daily driver (my GT-R is just too good/much for a daily driver in my opinion).

I am in Sydney and have $10k to play with but just need to know about your blow off valve and ram air filter. Aren't these illegal in Sydney? Or does your engineers cert cover these if I was to be pulled over by a copper?

JUSTINFOX...

The car has an aftermarket LINK computer which eliminates the need for an air flow meter, therefore an external venting bov does not affect the air:fuel mixtures and that is why the bov was passed in the engineers certificate.

The Ram pod air filter is also on the certificate but I can't remember WHY it was allowed.

it is all listed in the certificate though so you won't have any issues.

If you are serious, I suggest you call and take a look at it cause it has gone in the trading post and has had a fair bit of interest.

The car belongs to a friend of mine.

his contact number is 0425 226 075.

Take care.

    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
