CA18DET engine complete, part of eng loom can be included. (red top eccs) out of a 180sx for sale, suit rebuild.

Reason for sale: Pulled out due to suspected big end bearing fail due to oil surge. Was not started again after knocking was heard. Replaced with a VH45DE v8 so was not needed.

Condition: used, requires check/rebuild

Specs: Was running 225RWKW at 18psi.

Standard bottom end, factory bore.

Stock head with tomei solid lifter conversion (built for high revs). SOLD

Rev limit was set to 8000RPM

Tomei cams 260deg procams, lifter buckets and springs. SOLD

tomei cam gears SOLD

water pump has done only 1000km

Splitfire coils and new coil pack loom. MOST LIKELY SOLD...

Has starter motor, alternator, fan aircon compressor, lightweight exceedy flywheel and ceramic button clutch included (used)

Turbo not included

Suit a bluebird/ datto conversion etc!

Price: $1500 or nearest offer

Garrett 2871R turbo, 380HP, .64 rear end, T25 flange internal wastegate, only seen 2 weeks of use, as new.

Block: full bottom end complete, light big end knock, suit rebore. $100

Accessories: light weight flywheel,ceramic button heavy duty clutch, 20-30% used $100

Starter: $20

Head: tomei springs, solid lifters and tomei cams, adjustable cam gears. Prefer to sell as a whole $800ono SOLD PENDING

LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it  
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
