just wondering, i have heard lately from a few people that the 5" auto-meter tacho's are not very accurate,

is this true and if so what is a better option out there. thanks

if your using it for street only.. then your 5inch Gauge is homo-spec that's for sure..

I run one in the race car and find it fine.

I run an Autometer 5 inch Tach from their Cobalt range and she is 100% spot-on compared with the Nissan ecu consult output plugged into my laptop. Besides, all the big-time drag, speed boat, stock car teams use this brand, so I couldnt imagine them trusting their big dollar engines with Autometer if theyre not accurate. Hope that helped.
