Interesting that...

the report needed to mention the type of car, repeatedly

the witness didn't inform police when she noticed the aberent behaviour

the police failed to act on the deceased's alledged complant

the police failed to act independently

The deceased knew of the hazard yet took no mitigating action to decrease her exposure

Hoon is now a verb

all in all another well balanced casserole of nonsense

What a dickhead!!!!!! Obviously, he felt inadequate in certain areas and someones else has now payed the price. And he will have to live with this forever.

Knowing that he has killed an innocent person for the sake of five seconds of fun.

Why not just take it to a track or if you don't have the money, at least go somewhere where there is NO ONE AROUND.

The fact is he is just someone who feels like he needs the approval of people and will do anything to do it. Well now he has the complete opposite.

As for inthisglass, mate show some respect. The lady had done nothing wrong and was the innocent one. The dick who was driving was the one at fault and now she's lost her life because of it. How would you have liked it to have been you or worse, your mum, sister, wife, girlfriend, daughter, or someone close to you.

Rest in peace

The neighbours in my street think i hoon up and down the road, which i don't 50km/hr max.

The general public has no idea how fast your going and just assume your speeding from the sound of your car.

He may or may not have been hooning, but its a far cry to condemn the guy off that news article.

+1

Had about 3 people over my Skyline years pretty much jump out on the road and wave for me to slow down in residential areas, when I was more than likely below 50kph.

I had an old guy run out onto the road and scream "I'll throw a brick through your windscreen if you speed through here again!" .. because my car is too loud? he's obviously too old then!

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
