Fs: Tomei 2 Way Lsd To Suit V35/350z

Recommended Posts

Folks

I have for sale a Tomei 2 way LSD.

Comes as a complete assembly including diff housing (pumpkin), making for an easier install.

Unknown kms, as I purchased it second hand.

$650 pick up ono.

Note:

- Its still installed on my car, but will be removed within a couple of weeks.

- It is pretty tight, good for drift and/or circuit

- As with most clutch-type LSDs, it makes a fair bit of banging and clunking noises during low speed cornering (e.g., parking, reversing out of driveways, etc).

- Pick up very much preferred, as the unit is about 55kg in total.

It has now been removed from the car. $600 ono if anyone is interested.

I feel I should stress that this diff isnt too nice for low speed cornering, parking, etc. However it is great for everything else, particularly sliding.

I'm interested in you LSD and would like to know what reduction ratio it runs compared with the standard diff in the 350GT-8? Cheers, Josh

GT-8 is auto right?

I can't answer your question, but i have a feeling it won't be suitable.

It will probably be a real pain to fit that lsd to your gt-8 i think the bolt pattern on the half shafts will be different.

GT-8 is 3.6 FD open

350gt coupe auto i think is 3.3 FD viscous

350z auto i think is 3.3 FD viscous (i wouldnt mind one of these probably get awesome econonomy cruising at 120k.)

Im probably gunna put a cima 3.6 viscous in my gt-8 looks like they pratically bolt in other than the rear cover which you swap.
