On my old Familia I had a BOV in it, that was just painted black and hidden under a few wires... cops never saw it.

On 18 September 2006 the driver was observed by a member of the public reversing out of a driveway, engine revving loudly, tyres screeching and large cloud of smoke around the vehicle. This member of the public observed two distinct black tyre marks on the road and notified police of the vehicle details. Shortly afterwards police observed this vehicle driving towards them where the vehicle was stopped and the male driver arrested. The vehicle he was driving was examined and found to be a Mitsubishi Colt, which had been modified extensively to include a V8 253 engine. Part of these modifications included removal of the air cleaner so that the engine would not show from the outside, modification of the steering and braking system, which made the handbrake and rear brakes inoperative and the placement of the battery in the boot. He was arrested and this vehicle was impounded.
