Long time no type  I think it's time i got my car back on the road after 10 months off the road. Can anyone help me out on the where abouts to get child restraints put in the rear? It needs to go through regency and that's the only thing amongst quite a few that i think im going to have trouble with. Also, I need a set of standard rear shocks, mine have been sitting around and the seals are shot. Would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I miss it

Hey mate.

Do u need all the child restrant bolts and covers? Pretty sure I got them. I would drill 3holes. One under each speaker and one in the middle with a nut on the end. They don't really look into them just make sure they are there and don't move.

This is a real long shot, not sure if they'll fit, but I have some Teins for r32 gtr sitting in my shed doing nothing, you're welcome to borrow them if they fit your 33.. (dont know since rear suspension differs between gts-t r32s and the gts4/gtr...)

Ryan ring up that import compliance place that used to be next to Japanese import spares, they installed mine for regency

the nuts bolts n brackets cost them stuff all but its the labour that cost the most, took him about 1 1/2 hours to fit and cost me about $130

im sure someone on here no's the name

Hell yeah! Where you disappear to? Welcome back.

I have nothing to assist you, but best of luck. Would love to see the 33 back on the road.

Mitch i think would know the name he lives at JIS

welcome back Ryan

did it get defected? why you have to go over regency?

Thanks Steve. It got defected on a quiet Sunday morning driving to the servo to wash it about 10 months ago. Got defected for Track and too low. I didn't care too much. First time in 4 years it'd been defected. I put it in my workshop at work and totally forgot i owned it but it's collected enough dust now and needs to have it's cherry popped once again :O.

s15 and r33 are interchangeable?

if so, youre more than welcome to use the struts i got sitting in the shed.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
