I dont understand how its a learning curve going to 4wd.....?

because im an ethausastic driver at times (aren't we all).. i have driven a few awd''s (2 r32's 1x r33 2x wrx) and i would say im a rather skilled driver but i over estimated the stagea AWD system and weight of the car.. just didnt go where i wanted to but considering what happened this was probably the best outcome.

Skilled drivers don't usually crash their friends cars in my experience.

Might be better to admit you screwed up, and understand your limitations, clearly enthusiasim and a misplaced belief in your ability, along with driving a powerful car are not enough.

Peter Brock was a skilled driver so you're point is not completely valid... Before you come to conclusions on my driving experience/skill/whatever I would like to let you know that unexpected things can be on the road. I know my limitations - i did not know the car's and the situation called for more than the car could handle - and i am also admitting i did crash hence the reason i am paying for repairs.

so you call can get off your moral high horses now and either give me a hand with getting parts or troll someone else and their topics.

I doubt that we're going to find the middle ground on crashing cars, and AFTER you crash is not the time to brag about talent. And I hope you're not seriously comparing yourself to Peter Brock...

Still, if you have a look, there are a few guys on here that might be able to help you out. Alternatively, I've seen a few wreckers advertising parts on Ebay quite recently. Good luck with your search, hopefully your mates car is fixed soon.
