Just wondering if there are any jobs for a petroleum engineer in japan?

iv searched the net but it didnt really come up with much, just though id see if any of you guys living out there might have a clue, also is a high level of japanese a must?

my girlfriend is a petroleum engineer and where just looking at our options.

I was interested to find out as I work in a related field but then if I type "petroleum engineer japan" into google I see that your forum post comes up as the 7th result. Tells me there aint much out there

hehe yeah that seems to be the case, just thought japan would be interesting to move to for a couple of years, all the best with your search, it pretty much only looks like south america (where we currently are) the states wich where not interested in, africa and the middle east are also there but we would rather stay here or europe, wich i think is our next destination.
