Can Anybody Help Me

Hi guy,s,I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out. I,ve got an R31,tring to change the water pump.But can,t get the crankshaft pulley off,and don,t know why.Got the motor on TDC,taken all the belts off,removed the large retaing bolt,and used a gear puller.But it won,t come off,am i doing anything wrong,or have i forgotten to do anything.Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.the car has Aircon,crankshaft pulley takes three belt,s.Alt/powersteer/Ac.THANKYOU. P.S This F@#$^& pulley,s driving me around the bend....It,s a good thing the car.s on the fritz and i can,t get there.

does the harmonic balancer have threads in it so bolts can be wound in and wind it off the crank?

Yes, it does have the two holes.I,ll try putting a couple of bolts in.Thanks very much for the reply T_REVS.Much appreciated buddy.Bye.

WD40 and lots of it, use the gearpuller but the one that holds on by the bolts as mentioned above. the gear pullers are dangerous as they can break the edges of the balancer
