ADM,

Are you the bloke that Andrew is doing a price up on?

The RB25 head has hydraulic followers so from what I've been told everything is fine with the 2 oil feeds. Only time you are required to block on off is with the GTR head which is solid.

The SOHC has a few draw backs.

1. Fuel efficiency.

2. Lack of rev's.

3. It does make less power for the same setup of boost etc.

4. requires less static comp ratio as the sohc head is more common to detonation

5. requires more boost to be run to make the same power.

6. they seem to bit a little more peaky with narrower power band (lack of rev's)

+ to go the SOHC head I would have to change ecu etc as it isn't a straight bolt in.

I guess its like saying why go a RB30DET when a worked 5.7ltr will make the same power. :)

Im BAAACCCKK!!

PC shat it, so i let dialup expire, but im back now with BROADBAND!!!
