Has anyone used these/know someone who has and can elaborate if they are great/good/average/shit?

Can i get better for that price or even cheaper?

Just Jap is the Australian BC distributor so I doubt you find cheaper.

There are also several threads about BC suspension already, it is excellent quality, especially for the money.

I have a set in my daily wrx and its been fantastic.

Had them in my old accord. Great coilovers for the price. No squeks no leaks. highly recommended.

Here's one i haven't been able to get a definite answer for. Is it worthwhile paying the extra $100 for the newer model? I've heard it should be a better ride but has anyone been in a car with the new and the old style to see if it really makes that much of a difference (although 100 isn't much money)

I have both and the newer ones can be a bit softer feeling on the softest setting and feels like the ajustment works bit better for the extra money go the newer ones

Hey bud, I'm running the BC Racing BR Coilies on my R34 Sedan and couldn't be happier the build quality looked good, the price was good and they have 'local support'. The ones I have include the 32 step dampening adjustment which is a little overkill but hey any fine adjustment is good I guess.

I found them a little bit soft on cornering but recently got front and rear adjustable whitelines swaybars as well as justjap castor arms and this has improved the handling a fair bit.

wholesale suspension in Penrith had the red BC coilovers for $999 awwhile back.

you want the BR series (gold & black) they are the better version of BC coilovers.
