GenesisR32, yep we're in it and another R33 white will be joining me, that's 5 now :cheers:

p.s.

after the mtn run last thursday which i've done a few 360 :headspin: i realized i need new tyres :boobs: , does anyone know where's the best place to get em, like good deals?

springwood crazy clarks sounds good. Like what Nismogirl said, the car park is big and its possibly the best 'neutral' meeting place for both sides.

how about meeting at 8.30pm, have a little social gathering and chit-chat, put names to faces and then finally decide where we all wanna go from there?

each of us will have different suggestions and chances are that we will eventually be split into smaller groups for cruises, mountain runs, home, mistresses :), etc, etc, ... but at least you will still get to choose whatever activities you wanna participate in on your own free will. :)

i got fedrals on my car, they just wore out :) i had 235's though on 18". hard compund and I have to get tyres today as mine ****ed up >=[

I have Khumo 265 35 18"s on the rear, they were about $30 buck dearer than Nankangs.

I've had them since Nov 2002 and they still have heaps of tread!

Got them from Quick Fit at Capalaba.

I might be in this Thursday,.

Agreed, we need somewhere closer to Brisneyland.

As I said, we will only be at the meeting spot to have a chat, then we will probably head home. So don't get cranky at me for organising it and then leaving. Cause people do that quite often when i've said "we are only going to be out for an hour or so"

*scratches head* Yatala is NOT close to the northside. It would be like a 40 minutes drive, and a 10 minutes drive for yous.... I dont really call that fare :S

lol sorry erin, i was doing three things at once when i wrote that...

as said in above post all ideas to mix things up in the name of fairness and fun is great...

      I am well aware as I did rant at him to buy a MX5, buy the 2.5 before he DIY'ed it, etc as well as do things to the holden. He will obtain a ND. It's the best of both worlds. They look great in person, definitely the best looking one. Just a matter of time now.

      ouch! how is the car now?I had sold my gtr but have been looking into some on trademe and a 260RS but I wouldnt be keen on any repairs needed on them

      Just back on what was raised about jacking off the the tow/tie down point on the front of cars. I've used it plenty. I've also watched it on a car where you could see it move the front end of the car. It was like the front end/whole car being tweaked and twisted a bit. I will say, I struggle to find good jacking points on MOST cars. The ones that have good points, I then normally struggle to find a jack tall enough to make the car change height!   One of my go to points for either the jack, or the axel stands though, is either a suspension pickup point, OR a subframe to chassis major bolting point. I actually think its the subframe on my R33 that has a bit of a bend in it, from being jacked in the middle too. However, it could have been one of my many other cars I've had over the years! Or it could also be the from me jacking it up, and the fact the top of the front radiator support isn't there, so it can allow the front of the car to move and bend etc.
