R33 Warning Light?

hey guys was just driving in my way home and noticed the warning light on my dash was on.

i pulled over and turned the car off then started it agian and let it idle for a few minutes then reversed out and the light went.

anyone have any idea why the light came on?

wasnt running too hot and it didnt feel any different to drive.

help anyone? pleeaassee

lol my bad it was the light under the airbag light if that helps.

Go sit in your car now, and put the handbrake down, then back up, then down, and watch the light

if its the same as other cars then it also comes on from low brake fluid. sounds like you just left the handbrake on a bit but worth checking the brake fluid anyway

Hahaha it must of just been sittin on the edge coz it wasnt dragging at all and the hand brake seemed to be down lol stupid me haha:D

Yeah someone flashed my mum to pull over on the freeway once, was slight smoke coming from the handbrake being slighty on

Why not? I get into a car to service it, put the handbrake down, and the light remains on. I know instantly it has low brake fluid and there is a problem somewhere.

yes, thats fair enough but just remember the average joe blogs may not have this knowledge. having a seperate light would idiot proof the car and stop people from driving around with little to no brake fluid.

Dude it was the handbrake lol it hasn't come on anymore. And im not an idiot I was just wondering seeming as though I havnt had the car for long or had to fix anything so I had no idea what was goin on that's why I posted it up. And the ABS levels are fine
