Firstly I don't want this thread replied to with stupid swaps or offers, If you do not have an intention of buying the car, don't have the money I would appreciate your efforts not to reply.

Secondly I will not swap for any Holdens or Fords. I dont care how quick or insane your VS on LPG is. If I wanted one I would have bought one. If your easilly offended I'm sorry but Aussie cars are absolute buckets of shit and I have no intention of ever owning one.

I will also not swap for a Soarer or Celsior V8's or anything else really that isn't Jap AND non-turbo. The only cars I would really swap for with cash my way would be something 1J, say a stock auto chaser or a 1J Cressy would be my pick.

Details on the car:

Now thats out the way for sale is my 1998 R34 GTT Sedan. The reason for sale is that I want something cheaper and am now going overseas next year so want money towards a trip also. Mainly because the car sits at home at least 6 months a year as I am away for work heaps....last year I was only home 5 months and the car has only covered approx 15,000ks since buying it in February 09. The car is always kepts clean both inside and out, washed every few days and parked under cover even when I am away.

-1998 Model

-Silver

-Sunroof - Hard to find

-MINT R33 GTR Wheels with no gutter rash and just been repainted with 4 brand new tyres. I'm keen to keep the wheels but depends on the sale price I will put other wheels on it for the buyer

-Recent wheel alligment and replaced some of the bushes in the front end with Nolathanes

-Mint Interior (Drivers seat has the usual cigarette burns which from what I can see is near un-avoidable in a jap import)

-Manual (changed using R33 GTST box with approx. 95,000ks on it)

-Brand new chromolly flywheel that is factory weight ($440 rrp)

-Exedy heavy duty clutch with the 10,800N pressure plate - http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/ex...yline-p-26.html

-Nismo gearbox mount

-All brand new Nissan supplied bolts were used for the conversion

-Australian Standard Black wired alarm with anti-carjacking

-Factory Xenon headlights

-Recently fitted a brand new o2 Sensor

-All the usual options like TRC, ABS, Electric everything as usual

-Blue LED dash lights

-Sony A/M deck with Bluetooth and Ipod Connectivity (Blue deck to match in with the dash lights)

Details on manual conversion:

I did a full manual conversion almost right on the 100,000k mark with the intentions of keeping and developing it. I have used the original dash cluster with the manual face on it so its the original Ks (have the spare manual cluster that I stripped to keep my original one in there), used all original R34 parts, Clutch Master is a brand new Nissan direct item and the pedals are R34 items not modded R33 ones. I also fitted a brand new Chromolly flywheel (factory weight) and Exedy clutch with a heavier clamping load. Over $1000 alone there and the package from what Exedy have said will handle a slipping and good power which is what I intended.

I drove this to Phillip Island for the Moto GP in October and the trip there and back she didnt miss a beat. Fuel economy was also very good which surprised me as the auto was terrible on fuel. Sitting on 110ks in SA and 100ks in Victoria I was averaging 550ks+ out of a tank so around 10L/100ks as the tank only looks to hold around 55 litres but someone feel free to correct me

New photos of the car with the GTR wheels will be up soon

Price

$17,500k as is with the GTR wheels and a turn flow cooler suppied or I can fit if wanted. I will also sell the HKS BB GT25/30 Kit that I bought for the car to the buyer for $1000. That comes with EVERYTHING needed to mount it up, HKS actuator, HKS hard intake pipe and I will also buy a new turbo base gasket also.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
