Yeah must be different as in WA we don't need to display it. In fact we don't get the sticker anymore. It saves the government a lot of money and it is good for the environment.

Yes, Mikhail. In WA, we don't get rego stickers anymore to stick. I also heard we can even get fined for leaving the expired rego sticker still on the front wind screen.

I got pulled up in my sisters 350gt once.

Male cop asked me if the car was stolen, why I had pink number plates, and why there are 20inch rims on it.

I said Its my sisters, I'm not stupid enough to gutter rash 20" Konigs.

he laughed and said simply a good day to you.

Got stopped by a boose bus the oder nite. For the record my car is extremely low. Cop 1st looked at my 8000k HIDs but didnt say anything to me. He then asked me for my drivers license . While reading it he proceed to the back of the car shined his torch in the rear privacy glass. Still didnt say anything. Then looked at my rear wheels and tried to put his hand between the rear tyre and fender. He couldn't even get a finger in der , so he asked me " How low is ur car". I said im not sure but its on coilovers. He didnt know wat that was so i said adjustable suspension. He said its too low . So i said no worries Sir il change it i didnt know and gave him a story about how i didnt expect the car to drop so low. He said yea u jus have to b able to get a finger between the tyre and fender. He then proceeded me to another officer who breathalised me and did a license check. It was all good and i was allowed to proceed scrapping my exhaust and front bumper in a few pot holes. ( they picked the worst place to do the checks). Also wat really helped me was the manner in which i spoke to them every answer of mine was "Yes Sir no Sir", have a guud nite Sir.

Really helps wen u know u cud b a risk of a yellow.

Steve, that was the closest you can get into trouble (Except they bring out a tape measure and you are screwed, together with your low hanging exhaust). The way you conducted with the officers was the best way too, and I think that helped you.

Anyhow, you should raise it up abit, now that you got checked once. Lucky you. :)

Yea man im doing a wheel allignment tomoro. Ive asked them to also raise it in the rear about 10-12mm.

Cool Steve.

I don't think 10mm-12mm is not yet enough though (At least for a fat finger. :P ). 16mm-18mm should be good and safest.

Let me know how it goes. Kinh got his car all sorted out, so we can catch up this weekends. :)

My number 2 experience:

(25-03-11) I went through a booze bus again at night and was first on the queue (again. :P). Young officer went through a normal procedure of random breath test with me.

After that, he asked for my driver's license. He looked at it and said "So you are not on P-plate." I said "No, sir". He looked at my rims and ride height and shone his torch into my rear seats where my brother was sitting. He asked him if he was wearing his seat belt because his shirt was covering it. :P

No problem after that. He was ok. ;)

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
