Hi All,

Fitted an a/f gauge the other day and after fitting it and driving around for a while I noticed that whenever I switched the headlights on, or used the power mirrors the gauge reading would jump to "rich"

Tested the gauge power and earth, both were ok

Checked the signal wire, and it was the one causing the problem.

Had a look at where the o2 sensor wires plug into the ecu and there are some weird wires there. Running of each o2 sensor wire is another wire that connects the 2 sensor wires together, where they join 2 wires come out. One goes back into the ecu and the other runs up the wiring loom and out of sight.

Any idea that they'd be used for?

Would to be safe to cut the bridging wires?

Could the bridging of the wire be causing the signal to change?

Any help appreciated
