Is 7mm spacers safe for V36 rear wheels? Mine's not Hubcentric but i figured since its only 7mm then it should be fine. The wheel shop guy said so as well as long as i changed to a little longer studs with it. :whistling:

Did research on it online but can never get a straight answer..some will say its safe some will swear it'll kill you.... Hoping people with V35 & V36 could offer some advice..:D

I would stay away from any spacer that isn't hubcentric, it's just too much load for the wheel studs.

If you must use spacers, any decent machinist will be able to turn up a set for around $100- $120. Also, are they those stupid diecast multifit alloy things? If so, throw them far away, no good can come of it.

When they fracture (and they will), you will break a bunch of wheel studs, and destroy a wheel/your car.

Cheers, Dale

if you must run spacers, just get hubcentric bolt on ones. Don't risk flimsy "universal fit" floating spacers on the off-chance that they may work fine, coz the consequences otherwise can be quite devastating not to mention illegal.
