Fuse Mystery

All the indicators have ceased to work, so, blown fuse. But not fuse OK. So that is the start of the mystery.

I have an English print of the fuse layout in the box in the car. The car is an RS4, however there is no fuse in the slot marked 4WD. Also there is no fuse in the ABS location. There are the larger ones in the box under the hood. Is this correct.

I guess now I have to find the indicator clicker thingie but I cant seem to see it. Being an old bugger does not help trying to see under the dash. Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Ok Hugh, hopefully they didn't change it between S1 and S2.

I put my indicators on and followed the flasher unit's clicking noise

If you imagine where your left leg would be when sitting in driver seat, look up and back behind the dash to see the Relay/Flasher.

It's maybe 15 cm up from the leading bottom edge of where your left leg goes under the dash.

I have a 4wd fuse but not an abs, although it works, some dick helped me test it the other night....

Thanks for that.The diagram I have shows the indicator fuse where yours shows Rear Wiper.Where yours shows the indicators mine shows Fuel Pump.

I am not able to find where I got my diagram. It was in here somewhere.

You may be able to find it and post the two up together.

And yes, just a blown fuse. The hazzards worked so I realised it was not the flasher unit.
