Fired the Stagea up one morning to an awful racket as one of the VCT cam gear bolts has removed itself and began riding the gravitron. The NEO VCT Cam gear uses M6 x 15mm - 0.75mm fine pitch bolts which are a grade 7 (8.8) tensile strength. I'm having a hell of a hard time trying to find some to replace them. Bolt/nut places can't help, Nissan don't offer them as a spare part, Engineering places want $25 per bolt to make them, and Andrew from KudosMotorsports is looking further into it for me which i highly appreciate. Any ideas on where i can source some replacements ?

Jack the car up so the wheel is off the ground and try move it side to side and up and down. Should be nice and tight. What is your eyebrow height from centre of the wheel to the guard ?

I'm sorry but when someone advertises a car saying "Exterior is in showroom condition and the interior is practically brand new" you don't expect to see mismatched paint and chunks taken out of interior trims.

The birthday present my wife ordered for me arrived and I spotted this ! It's quite nicely done on an aluminium sheet, and all the lines are embossed (not sure if that's correct lol) but you can feel the spokes on the wheels for example.

Interior trim around the A/C controls, key barrel and passenger front door looks terrible. Passenger door has either been replaced or resprayed (Most evident in the first photo). "exterior is in showroom condition and the interior is practically brand new" hahaha, yeah right. Advertised as 1999 but described as 2000 "Car is 100% stock standard with no modifications from factory". Those aren't factory seats, grille, N1 style bumper vents or wheels. I thought all 260's had the momo steering wheel ? That car just doesn't look right at all.

An old trick that used to be done in car yards was to grab a candle and rub it on the belt on the faces that contact the pulley.

It's definitely the same car. The seller is even using the previous owners pics lol.

I spotted a blue M35 on Loganlea Rd Saturday midday. Well, actually the M35 spotted me first and beeped.

I've seen alot of stagea's on the road in the bris/gold coast/tweed area but from what i gather, hardly any of them are on these forums. This makes it virtually impossible to try and co-ordinate any form of cruise/meet if we can't communicate with them. I know Hugh and his son have stageas on the Tambo mountain (by the way Hugh, my parents are setting up a block of land up there now so i shall have to come and check out your Unicorns some time). Maybe we need to liase with other clubs to try and find more stagea owners ?

I would be keen to cruise with some fellow enthusiasts if something does eventuate.

Cheers Grimi. The rims are Advanti Stage in a 17"x9". I got them from option1garage in brisbane about 3-4 year ago now. They ordered me the right offset and centres are machined which i haven't seen before.

What have i done ? I washed it ! Mods to come: AFR Gauge and clutch.

QLD - M1 Southbound from slacks creek till beenleigh north exit I was stalking a Yellow S2 C34. I think it had one of those "My groceries are faster than yours" stickers on the back. This was around 10:20 am today. Nice ride height and wheels. I think it had eyelids too and a dolphin style grill. Good to see another yella fella getting around.

I usually like to look at a nice gap; but not on spark plugs Is that gap setting normal ?? It looks like it would need a tesla coil to bridge that PS: I am most likely wrong as i know nothing about these newer volvos.

QLD - Spotted a silver series 1 with number plates WGN34 out at archerfield. I think it was a tyre and auto place he was parked. If you work there, i will probably see alot more of it now as i am delivering radiators, top tanks etc to Red Devil and Hi Tech just up the road from you. Nice Ride

This was found on driftworks - Just for anyone who wants to know you push it in, turn it 90degrees and let it go. It should kinda click into place and not come back out fully. Then when you drive on full boost it sticks on the highest boost. The button not coming out fully seems to hold some of the pressure in the gauge to keep the needle at the peak boost.

What about this fella here, Isn't it responsible for determining throttle position and based on afm readings - giving the correct amount of fuel ?
