I most certainly do, got 1 left out of the few I was given but Shane still has a few more left. $15 and it is yours, will have to organize a time to meet up.

1. Sebastian Lip (by default)

2. Someone in a Porsche Turbo S

3. Tristan Catford (clipped cone in final round +5sec penalty)

from what I heard/understand.

Our own Matty T came in 19th in the end, a very good job on his first hill climb, and especially after just getting the car back 1-2days before the event clapo.gif

So ... an SAU-SA club member won the Mt Alma Mile?

Just a word of advice, you dont win an event like Alma by 'default'

Seb won because he was bloody fast all day and run 4 x 44 second runs. That is much easier to say than it is to do :)

What a awesome day, besides getting burnt :(

RH9 absolutely porno sounding car 3some.gif

Catford was pretty fast, just a shame he tapped a cone on that last run :(

Well done to Seb tho, car seems to be going great. thumbsup.gif

Look forward to joining you guys on the mt in the near future.

Was stoked how well i went this weekend, wasnt expecting to be anywhere near the "pointy end" of the rankings

Also a cheers to Dale and the boys for coming over and helping when i couldnt get it in gear.....that was an odd occasion thats for sure

Looking forward to the next round of the AWDTC and also secretly looking forward to the 'mile next year too :P

That is true, when I was told the results by someone else, that was the words that were used, so not knowing of what else to write, used the same.

+ 100

Thats fine, no problems, what I want to say is -

Congrats to the 3 Willall Racing cars and drivers in the Top 6 and of course P1 overall - all customers, all fast, all 100% reliable

Andrews R32 is a weapon, and Gavins EVO X shows exactly what can be done with an 'automatic Lancer'

King of the hill and P1 for Willall Racing though was Seb in his R35 GTR, a fantastic drive for a first timer in a fantastic car, cool under pressure. As good as it gets.

Kudos to Tristan, hitting a cone is gutting, but nonetheless part of the sport. Great drive.

Anyone have some times of the top contenders that they'd care to post up please?

LOL at Martin's description of Gav's ride.........."Automatic Lancer". :rofl2:

Why don't you just call it a hairdresser's car......as you can see, I've been to the hairdressers one time too many

How do the top 3 placings work? Is is the top 3 times from the weekend or do the times get wiped from the weekend once the cars go into the top 12 shoot out etc and the timing then starts again?

Sudden death is the format

You need to make the 12 to get into the shootout, then turn it on from there :)

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
